Spiez Castle enjoys a scenic lakeside location between Thun and Interlaken. The oldest part of this former fortification dates back to the 10th century. The castle has been owned by a foundation since 1927, and the castle museum showcasing more than 1300 years of history is well worth a visit. Or climb up the steps of the castle tower to take in the stunning views of the lake, mountains and vineyards. This is also the perfect spot to wind down after your seminar, combined with a leisurely stroll through the castle garden and a glass of excellent Spiez wine.
